VazART® Stages — Neurodevelopmental Necklaces
Necklaces by Stages

Your necklace works in two dimensions. For you and for your baby.

Before your baby interacts, the necklace is for you. When their curiosity awakens, it's already designed for them.

Because a good necklace doesn't choose between mom and baby. It accompanies both.

For mom, from day 0 For baby, from 3–4 months Baby-friendly · BPA free · Since 2017

When does each stage begin?

The answer is not a fixed age, it's a milestone. This table helps you identify exactly when your baby is ready for each necklace.

Milestone Stage 1 Stage 2 Stage 3
The necklace is for you · 0 to 3 months
0–2 m
Baby doesn't interact yet
Involuntary grasp reflex, the necklace is an accessory for mom
2–3 m
First visual stimuli
Fixates gaze and follows the necklace, not yet reaching with intent
Baby comes into play · 3 to 7 months
3–4 m
First voluntary reaches
Extends arm towards the necklace, real interaction begins
3–5 m
Beginning of oral exploration
Brings objects to mouth with intent, the necklace is now their toy
Why is it important? Between 3 and 4 months, babies use their mouths to explore the world. Bringing objects to the mouth strengthens the muscles around the lips, reduces drooling, and promotes jaw development.
4–5 m
Voluntary grasp, whole hand
Grabs beads, holds them, and shakes; active tactile exploration
5–6 m
Established palmar grasp, bimanual
Passes beads from hand to hand; brings everything to mouth with intent
6–7 m
Intense oral exploration
Sucks, gnaws, and pulls; Stage 2 begins to be relevant
~
More world to explore · 7 to 12 months
7–8 m
Mature eye-hand coordination
Investigates different shapes, takes advantage of hexagons and discs
8–9 m
Cause and effect, inferior pincer grasp
Uncovers, throws, and observes; interested in what happens when manipulating
9–11 m
Thumb-index pincer grasp, distinguishes shapes
Precision grasps; differentiates sizes and textures
~
11–12 m
Mature fine pincer grasp
Presses, pulls, and explores with real control and precision
~
Classify, build, investigate · 12 to 36 months
12–15 m
Constructions and inlays
Stacks blocks, simple inlays; understands size relationships
15–18 m
Shape classification
Shape sorter, stacking rings, purposeful manipulation
18–24 m
Color and size classification
Towers of 4–6 blocks, orders sequences
24–36 m
Advanced manual independence
Towers of 10 blocks, threads, molds, classifies; symbolic play
Ideal for this milestone
In transition
