Yes, as long as it is used correctly. The necklace is worn by mom, not the baby. The baby explores and chews on it while being held or nursing, always under supervision.

The materials are antibacterial food-grade silicone, BPA-free, certified by the FDA and the EU. The clasps are tested to withstand more than 138 N without detaching or releasing parts. The baby should never be left alone with the accessory.

Yes. The pieces are 100% chewable — they are made of food-grade silicone designed exactly for that purpose. Biting the necklace helps relieve teething discomfort and is a natural part of the baby's sensory exploration. The clasp or fastener should not be bitten.

No. It is an accessory for mom, not a toy. That's why VazART does not make necklaces with integrated teethers. Doing so makes the necklace perceived as a toy and can represent a real choking hazard if the baby is left alone with it. The necklace must be worn by mom while the baby explores it, always with supervision.

For child safety regulations, the pacifier clip has a maximum length of 22 cm not counting the clasp. This measurement is not arbitrary; it is the limit established by regulations to ensure that the accessory does not pose a risk to the baby. For this same reason, it is not possible to add letters or names: they would extend the pacifier clip beyond what is allowed.

Pacifier clips are designed following the European Standard EN 12586:2008+A1:2011, which requires them to withstand at least 90 N without breaking or detaching small parts.

At VazART, we go further: our internal tests apply 138.3 N (14.1 kg), equivalent to more than 50% above the minimum required, and our products successfully pass them. The rest of the products comply with EN-71 regulations.

Maintaining hygiene is simple. Follow these instructions according to the material:

• — Hand wash with warm water and mild soap.
• — Rinse well and air dry.
• — You can also use a dishwasher.
• — Do not use sterilizers, microwaves, or boiling. The cord and clasps lose resistance with heat.

Beech wood pieces

• — Clean with a damp cloth.
• — Do not immerse in water.
• — Do not use harsh chemical products.
• — Apply vegetable oil from time to time to nourish the wood.

No. Although food-grade silicone withstands high temperatures, nylon cord and clasps do not. With heat, they lose strength, weaken, and can burn, jeopardizing the safety of the product and your baby.

This applies to all products with cord and clasps: pacifier clips, nursing necklaces, and similar accessories.

At VazART®, we support the circular economy, but according to the Consumer Statute, our products are classified as personal use goods.

For hygiene and child safety, we do not recommend reusing them or acquiring them second-hand.

Dispatch takes place 5 to 7 business days after payment confirmation by the payment gateway, or after sending the proof of bank transfer.

All products are handcrafted upon receipt of payment, in order of arrival. We do not keep finished stock, because each piece can be customized in colors according to each mom's preferences.

VazART® products cannot be exchanged, returned, or refunded once dispatched, for the following reasons:

They are personal use accessories in direct contact with babies, which excludes them from the right of withdrawal according to Art. 47 of Law 1480 of 2011 (Colombian Consumer Statute), which exempts goods that by their nature cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or safety.

Each product is handmade to order, so there is no stock for exchanges.

What does VazART® cover? If you receive a product with a verifiable manufacturing defect, you have 5 business days from receipt to report it via WhatsApp with a photo or video of the defect. We evaluate each case and, if applicable, replace the product at no cost.

Yes, many products can be customized in terms of colors. The process is simple:

3. We'll send you a visual proposal for your approval.
