The most wonderful time of the year is approaching, a time of color, celebration, and joy. Your baby will thoroughly enjoy the lights, Christmas decorations, the tree, and even the Nativity scene.
Everything is a discovery and an excitement for them. For your baby to experience the joy of Christmas to the fullest and for you to be at ease, I want to give you some recommendations and show you our new Vazart Christmas Kit, with which your little one can approach the tree and happily play with its ornaments.
1. The tree lights
This is no small matter now that we are mothers; perhaps before, we didn't realize how safe the lights we placed around our tree to give it that festive and elegant halo to the Christmas decoration really were.
With the arrival of our babies, this is an issue we must be careful about, as they will be tempted to run towards that beautiful light that constantly twinkles.

Carefully check the product instructions when you buy it, make sure it is safe and not susceptible to electric shocks or short circuits. Check that the wiring is in perfect condition, and if a set of lights that you've been keeping for many Christmases no longer looks good, discard it and buy a new set of lights. Believe me, your baby's safety is worth everything.
Oh! And don't forget to turn off the lights when you go to sleep. We're not exempt from a short circuit, and if the family is asleep, there will be no way to react quickly.
2. The Nativity scene figures
It's no secret that our babies are fascinated by the figures used to decorate the Nativity scene, from the crazy sheep that falls every two minutes to one of the Three Wise Men. Everything is something that sparks your baby's curiosity.
If you're one of those who sets up a Nativity scene, be careful with these figures. Due to their tiny size, your baby will want to put them in their mouth and could choke on them.
If you have the option of making a mini fence for your Nativity scene or getting larger figures, do it; it's better to be at ease.
3. The Christmas tree
Of course, we had to talk about the tree, that beautiful object that occupies a special corner of our home and which we surround with gifts with infinite joy.

Your baby will be no exception; they will want to run towards it because everything fills them with wonder and curiosity.
For your little one's safety, keep the following in mind:
- Place the tree on a very stable base that gives it enough stability so it doesn't tip over onto your baby. Remember, they will probably want to pull on its branches.
- Tree ornaments should be made of fabric or plastic, no glass, metal, sharp, or pointed objects that could hurt them.
- Try to leave the ornaments you consider safest at your baby's height so they can grab them.
4. The craziness of Christmas dinner
Many of us love to cook at Christmas. Christmas dinner represents family unity and the warmth of home, and we get so involved in preparing dinner that we sometimes forget that our little ones are roaming and exploring the house.
The smell of cookies, the lit ovens, and the kitchen's frenzy attract them enough.
Be careful, an accident can happen in a matter of seconds, and a beautiful celebration can turn into a moment of anguish and worry.
5. Be strategic with your decorations
For some mothers, Christmas drives them so crazy that their entire house becomes the Polar Express itself, and there's nothing wrong with that, but you'll have to focus your attention on many corners of the house so your baby doesn't get hurt.
Candles are one of the most eye-catching Christmas decorative accessories for babies. We usually place them on our coffee tables or side tables, so be careful that your baby doesn't get burned when they are lit.
Filling the house with Christmas decorations is not bad, but try to center the decoration in one place or put the ornaments in high places where your baby cannot reach them.
